Mr. Ralph Lafontant a Medical Assisting student at American Institute School of Wellness and Beauty has been borrowing a less than reliable bicycle to get to school each day since June 2011 to complete his program. “Ralph has been a model student with almost perfect attendance since June. In honor of completing his required in-school hours and now going on to complete his externship hours at a nearby physician’s office, together with his supportive class members and staff we were able to raise enough money to afford a brand new bicycle for Mr. Lafontant” stated Ms. Belinda Roy, Program Director for the daytime Medical Assistant program.
As a team the students, staff and faculty planned a luncheon on February 28th to raise the money for the bicycle purchase. For only $5 a plate the students, staff and faculty at the Margate campus ate a delicious lunch while giving back to one of their classmates.

Margate, FL – On Tuesday, February 28, 2012 the American Institute School of Wellness and Beauty family came together to raise money for a student in need.
